I'm a data and AI engineer from Nigeria with nearly a decade of experience. I currently work remotely out of Lagos, blending my technical expertise with innovative solutions.

WORK

I have worked for both startups and professional service IT companies building data applications for clients across various domains. Currently I'm a freelance Data Engineer at a US based company, where I'm building and scaling the data infrastructure for the business. I am also the founder of a software contracting company, Tiptier, we build cloud-based data and AI solutions for businesses and teams, and also provide technical consultations on projects.

SKILLS

I mostly use Linux Bash, Python, Java, SQL, and JavaScript. I am an end-to-end person. I specialise in taking a product from an idea to a live solution. I enjoy working across all value chains from the design to the deployment of large-scale distributed systems. I work on databases, datawarehousing, APIs, batch/streaming pipelines, data modelling, analytics, machine learning, AI engineering, cloud deployments, infrastructure as Code (Iac), microservices, Kubernetes, UI development and some blockchain projects.

INTEREST

I am interested in building data and AI products. I have built skills by working on technical side projects across different specializations. This is the essence of this website. It would be the medium through which I share content about my projects and knowledge with my online communities.

OUTSIDE WORK

I enjoy basketball and video games. On weekends I go to the basketball court to shoot some hoops, I'm usually the Power forward or Small forward on the team, when the team needs offence, I‘m there with my blazing midrange, 3 points, assists and some post moves, when the team needs defence, I’m there with my blocks and steals. I also enjoy playing FC24/25, COD and adventure games on PS5. I’m keen on competitions, and my never-ending goal is to keep getting better at everything I do. This has shaped my mentality.
